Reporting to the Group Account Director this is a key role linking our Research, Marketing and Commercial teams, ensuring all communications are clear and projects are on time and on brief.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities 

  • Creating presentations for, and delivering Immersive Inductions & Client Sessions
  • Supporting our Research & Trends Director with taking briefs from clients for bespoke projects
  • Being the first port of call for the Account Management team

  • Creating presentations to clients
  • Contributing to our Global Trend Alert reports

We are looking for a Graphic Designer to join our talented Marketing team. As the only Graphic Designer in the team, you should be used to working with a range of media including creative graphics, web design and videography in a B2B environment and have an adaptable skillset.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  1. Ownership of The Insights People asset library

This will include updating existing materials as well as designing and creating new materials.  Materials typically include:

  • Presentations
  • Product factsheets, reports and brochures
  • Imagery for website and social media channels

You will ensure that all communications (online and offline) reflect the brand positively and accurately.

  1. Video Production

This will include recording and editing video blogs & interviews, reordering and fine-tuning the content to ensure the logical sequencing, smooth running of the video and writing voiceover/commentary.  It will also include experimenting with styles and techniques including the design of graphic elements & animations.

Technical skills required:

  • thorough knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat and XD
  • knowledge of After Effects and Premiere, Final Cut Pro would be an advantage

You should have a degree in  Data / Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or a related subject and whilst we would like you to have some experience in the following areas with a good grasp of the fundamentals, we are just as interested in your desire to learn and development potential.

  • providing support for all end-to-end data requirements for the business which involves
    • ensuring surveys are set up correctly and quotas managed
    • transferring data from surveys into core business databases

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Analysing our large data sets to a higher level in order to discover insights
  • Communicating insights using interesting and engaging data visualization techniques
  • Helping plan and shape the roadmap of data science projects

Applicants should have the following experience and characteristics:

  • Have a first degree or post-grad qualification in Data Science or closely related discipline
  • Some experience or skills in either :
    • Python
    • R
    • SQL
    • SciPy, Matlab, Tensorflow
  • Ability to connect to APIs and data scrape (e.g. social media sites like YouTube, or ecommerce sites like Amazon)

We survey 277,000 kids each year, generating 400 million data points. In order to ensure that our data portal keeps up to date with the latest trends, we need a number of additional staff to cleanse our data and code up open-ended answers from the surveys we conduct across 13 global regions.

Key aspects of this role

  • We are recruiting both full time and part time staff. For those working part time, you will be able to work flexibly around study commitments, but should be able to commit a minimum of 10 hours per week
  • You will be working remotely and report into one of our Research Managers at our Manchester City Centre office
  • You must have your own laptop with Excel installed
  • We will provide all training and materials required to do the job
  • All data will be in English; however, a working knowledge of other languages may also be helpful going forward
  • The work is not technically difficult, but does require the ability to work quickly and accurately with excellent attention to detail
  • You may already have had some exposure to some areas of market research / statistics and be capable of working with large datasets
  • This is a zero-hours contract and remuneration will be at minimum wage level
